There Has Never Been a Better Time!
Solar has arrived, and it's here to stay! The economics of solar energy changed dramatcally as of January 1, 2006, May 1, 2006, and again on September 1, 2006. These PG&E electricity rates are at all-time highs. Not to be outdone, Southern California Edison announced a 15% rate increase on August 1st, 2006, and will implemented a 48 cent/kWh top residential tier in November or 2006, an unprecedented 243% jump since 2005 for Valley electricity consumers. Many are wondering how high energy prices will go in the future. These rate increases mean that the payback period for a solar energy system has never been better. Imagine paying down a loan on a system with money you'd otherwise be paying to the utility and after only 6-7 years...it's paid for! What's more is the system will provide decades of clean, quiet, and reliable energy for your home, business, farm, or public sector building for decades to come. Indeed, there has never been a better time to go solar.
