“I thought the panels were supposed to come down in price by now. Prices don’t seem to be any different than they were a year or two years ago. What is up with that?”-
Answer: A good question with a couple of answers. First, due to still available reasonable rebates from the CPUC the demand for Solar Power is still very high. High demand=high prices. Also many European countries, especially Germany, can not purchase enough panels in Europe so they come over here to buy panels produced in the USA. More demand still. Other European countries are just now beginning to rev up their Solar Power purchasing… even more demand on top of Germany’s.
